Traveler’s Guide
We understand that many beloved guests may be traveling from other states and might otherwise need additional accommodations. Whether you’re flying, driving, or teleporting, here are a few enchanted tips and recommendations to help you prepare for the adventure ahead.
LODGING
There are plenty of hotels near the venue, but if you're already making the trip, why not turn it into a little getaway?
To make things easier (and a bit more magical), we're offering an optional 3-day shared wedding cabin next to the ceremony site, which includes food for all three days, so you can relax and enjoy the full experience with us without any worries.
FLYING
We know some of you don’t mind a scenic drive through the mountains, but if you’re planning to fly, the closest and most convenient airport is Knoxville (TYS), just about 20 to 30 minutes from the venue and lodging.
From there, you can easily rent a car or catch a ride to your enchanted stay in the Smokies.
Other Options: Asheville (AVL) and Nashville (BNA) are farther but scenic if you're extending your trip.
TRANSPORTATION
The wedding venue is just a short walk away from the cabin (right beside the cabin), making it easy and convenient for guests staying with us.
For those who may need additional transportation:
Uber/Lyft: Ride-share services are available in Gatlinburg, but please note that wait times can be longer than in larger cities. We recommend scheduling rides in advance when possible, especially during peak hours.
Gatlinburg Trolley: A great free option for getting around! The Gatlinburg Trolley offers complimentary rides to many attractions throughout the city.
DRIVING
Gatlinburg roads are beautiful but winding, especially near cabins. Driving during daylight will be your best friend if you’re unfamiliar with the area.
There’s limited parking at the ceremony site, so carpooling is encouraged!
